Last week’s party was soooo fun!  It was the biggest party yet: most link ups, most clicks and most views.  Woohoo!  And like I always say, “the more the merrier.”  Link parties are such a great way to meet other bloggers, build relationships and get inspiration.

Just to give you an example, it is through link parties that I have discovered so many of my favorite blogs.  And the relationships come from regularly visiting those blogs and leaving genuine comments.  I actually got to meet Pamela @ From My Front Porch To Yours in person.  I’ll tell you more about that on Friday.  Relationships have also been formed through collaborating with other bloggers on things like guest posts, button swaps and sponsorship.

The inspiration is truly yours for the taking.  All you have to do is visit other links in the party.  Sometimes my mind starts racing and my heart starts pounding from all of the inspiration I get from others; from you.  You have made me a better decorator and more budget conscious.  I’m really excited about that and about all that the world of blogging has to offer.

All of this to say that I believe link parties are worth our while.  I’m so delighted that you choose to spend your Wednesdays with me at Show & Tell.  I said it last week, and I’ll say it again, I don’t take that for granted.

And here we are for another week of Show & Tell.  It’s your time to shine!  Share your latest home decor, d.i.y, crafts, recipes, tips, tutorials…if you did it, you can link up.  Feel free to link up as many projects as you like as long as it is new to Show & Tell.

This week’s Show & Tell was hoppin’ with new friends and old!  I hope you took the time to visit each other.  There was so much to see; from recipes, to gardening to home decor and d.i.y.  You all are so inspiring.  After seeing all of your projects, my heart starts racing with excitement.  I get so inspired that I can hardly contain my enthusiasm.  I’m not kidding.

I’ve got a little bit of everything to show you today, and I hope you’re just as inspired as I was. Read the rest of this entry

This past weekend, we were all curious about the chirping and commotion coming from a bird at the front door.  Our cat was really curious. . Sure enough, when I investigated, there was a nest behind my wreath.  So how have you been feathering your nest lately?  Come Show & Tell us what you’ve been up to! Read the rest of this entry

I want to say a great big THANK YOU to everyone who linked up this week.  We had some fine examples of excellence linked up to this week’s Show & Tell party, making it  my favorite Show & Tell party so far.  There were stories of God’s providence and grace and of a mom’s memories, tales of celebrations and displays of creativity.  I love seeing your individuality come through in your projects.  Y’all really shined!  You are all stars in my book, and I couldn’t be more proud!  I have several features to show you. So, I’ll get right to it.

Hi, friends!  You may have noticed that I didn’t host Show & Tell last week.  I took a week off to rejuvenate and reevaluate.

My goals for Show & Tell are to provide a platform for encouragement, community and exposure.
I sincerely hope that you feel encouraged when you participate in Show & Tell. Based on the comments that I’ve seen y’all leave each other, It looks like y’all are making new friends. That makes me very happy. And I have some ideas on how to make sure the time you spend linking up is worthwhile regarding exposure.

I want to let you know that I will not be sending anymore reminder emails.  From now on, the start of the party will be announced through facebook and twitter.  I’ll try to send that out ahead of time for those that like reminders.    If you already follow my blog, you will see the party when it goes live.   But, if you liked the reminder, you might want to “Like” my facebook fan page or follow me on twitter.

Features from each party have always been based on the links with the most clicks.  Occasionally, I have featured someone that I really thought should be recognized even if they didn’t have the most clicks.  It will continue this way, but with a few additional opportunities as well.

Also, I plan to close the party on Fridays at midnight and features will be posted on Saturday.

Well, I have rambled long enough.  If you’ve made it through all of the talk, you deserve a break.  Let’s party!

Link as many projects as you like. They can include home decor, crafts, d.i.y projects, recipes, tips/tutorials, etc. If you did it, you can link it.

Please include a direct link back to this party or place the party button in your post by right clicking and selecting ‘copy image address’.
